Radiation embrittlement (RE) of the WWER-1000 vessel materials (VM)

Results of studying the first samples of the WWER-1000 VM are discussed. The RE dependence of VM on the metallurgical variables and damaging dose is considered. It is shown that nickel essentially increases RE. New dependences for determining the RE rate of the WWER-1000 VM are developed. Investigat...

Zusammenfassung:Results of studying the first samples of the WWER-1000 VM are discussed. The RE dependence of VM on the metallurgical variables and damaging dose is considered. It is shown that nickel essentially increases RE. New dependences for determining the RE rate of the WWER-1000 VM are developed. Investigations of RE of the VM welds and the main metal-steel 15Kh2NMFAA are carried out too.
