Zusammenfassung: | Adherence to health‑promoting behaviors intended to mitigate modifiable risk factors plays an important role in secondary cardiovascular prevention.
We aimed to evaluate sex differences in the prevalence and control of risk factors in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).
The study included 1236 patients who experienced acute coronary syndrome or coronary revascularization within the last 6 to 24 months. Definitions of risk factors and treatment goals were based on the 2016 European Society of Cardiology guidelines on cardiovascular prevention.
