Zusammenfassung:	This review focuses on hydrogen storage and thermal utilization systems in relation to environmental problems and covers the present status in functions, utilizations, technologies and alloy development of H absorbing alloys and problems encountered in the development of alloys. For realizing applications in fields other than a Ni-H secondary battery, the assessment of cost performance including environmental problems is requisite.
