Properties of superconductors under low temperature deformation: Role of twins

The results of research into superconducting properties under low temperature deformation (LTD) of Nb, Sn, Re, In, Pb are reported. It is concluded that the effect of increase of Tc and Hc upon twinning is related to the formation of localized superconducting states.
