Zusammenfassung: | Previously abstracted from original as item 9106-C1-D-1435. The dependence of the resistance of composites with a polymer matrix to cracking on the temperature of the environment and the duration of the thermal action has been investigated over a wide temperature range (up to the self-ignition temperature). The characteristic of resistance to cracking adopted was the work of fracture with normal detachment of layers and longitudinal shear. The experiments were carried out on specimens of glass reinforced textolite, carbon fibre reinforced plastic and organic fibre reinforced plastic. |
