Zusammenfassung: | The magnetic resistance anisotropy of Ni films on MgO substrates has been determined for 5.0 plus/minus 0.5 mu m thick films, the surface plane orientation being (001). The evidence suggests that the magnetic resistance varies with the angle of the applied field, and that multiple heating/cooling stages to 4.2K do not alter this relationship. Such a change in anisotropy is possibly due to a variation in the form of the Fermi surface conductivity electrons. 7 ref.--M.R.M. |
