Zusammenfassung:Thermal properties of acrylonitrile (AN)-butyl acrylate (BA)-divinylbenzene (DVB) macroporous terpolymers were investigated using TG and DTA methods. Polymers containing 10 wt% of DVB and various amounts of BA were obtained by suspension polymerization in the presence of inert diluents. The effect of BA content on the thermal stability of the terpolymers in air and in inert atmosphere was studied; with increase of BA content, thermal stability decreased. The activation energy of the thermal degradation processes were calculated using numerical methods. Activation energy was 97–1254 kJ/mol for degradation in air and 89–286 kJ/mol for degradation in argon.
