The market has increased with the development of microbial-based products. Currently, it is normal to think that microorganisms help us in agriculture by applying them as biological control. In this mini review, we collect the last findings about this topic including very recent literature. Key points • Microorganisms play a beneficial role in agriculture by different mechanisms. • One of these mechanisms is the secretion of chemical compounds with different activities.
