Heats of formation of hydrides of intermetallic compounds: Quantitative predictions

A model for calculating the enthalpy of formation of hydrides of inter-metallic compounds is developed. The model gives good agreement with experimental data. A new type of hydride of intermetallic compounds based on p-elements is predicted.
