Zusammenfassung: | An attempt is made to find Hall current effects on the unsteady flow created by small amplitude torsional oscillations of an infinite disk that is superimposed on a basic state of rotation of a semi-infinite viscous, incompressible conducting fluid. The initial value problem is solved by a Laplace transform technique, and the structure of the associated boundary layers, the significant interaction of electromagnetic and Coriolis force, and the generation and propagation of inertial oscillations and hydromagnetic diffused waves are discussed |
