Zusammenfassung: | The technology of electrodeposition of zinc metal powder from zinc dross is reviewed. Electrolysis was carried out utilizing sodium zincate solution obtained by dissolving the zinc dross in caustic soda and separating the undissolved from residue. The effect of both the cathode current density and the zinc ion concentration on the shape, structure, size, particle size distribution and specific surface area of the produced powder was investigated. |
