Kinetic treatment of glass formation: VIII, Critical cooling rates for Na sub 2 O-SiO sub 2 and K sub 2 O-SiO sub 2 glasses

Calculations of critical cooling rates used the analysis of crystallization statistics and the simplified model of glass formation. In both cases, the models predict the measured critical cooling rates and their variation with composition. For part VII, see Ceram. Abstr., 1983, 62 [1-2] 62-00360A.
