Zusammenfassung: | The present work describes an experimental setup for measuring the electromagnetic field in a large-scale model of a microstrip. Simulation of the dielectric substrate by a liquid allows measurements to be made at all points on the strip. The diffusion method is used to reduce perturbations introduced by the measuring probe. An automatic tracing of the electromagnetic field lines in real time is made possible by coupling probe displacement sensors to a minicomputer. It is concluded that the diffusion method offers superior potential to the direct method of measuring the EM field. |
