Zusammenfassung: | The Air Combat Maneuvering Range (ACMR), a system of gathering and displaying comprehensive real-time information about four maneuvering aircraft and of simulating missile flight is discussed. The Tracking Information Subsystem consists of a high-speed phase-lock-loop ranging system. Data is collected and transmitted by the Airborne Instrumentation System contained in instrument pods carried by each aircraft. The Computation and Control Subsystem (CCS) is a large multi-processor for real-time computation of aircraft position, attitude, accelerations, and identification and missile trajectories. The software programming incorporates a 'Kalman Filter' which provides an optimum solution for attitude and position of each aircraft every 0.1 seconds. The Display and Debriefing System has two displays sets, each including a situation display, an alphanumeric display and a status display. |
