Zusammenfassung:The FilmArray® meningitis/encephalitis panel detects the 14 most frequent pathogens causing meningitis and/or encephalitis. The cases of FilmArray´s false negative in bacterial meningitis are rarely described in the literature. We are reporting a case of a false negative FilmArray® result for N. meningitidis and how we managed to overcome this situation.
