Turbulent boundary layers with uniform mass transfer including low Reynolds numbers

The accuracy of the modifications to the mixing length in predicting the velocity distributions with uniform mass transfer for both low and high Reynolds numbers, as proposed by some authors, is investigated. It has been found that the inaccuracies thus encountered are sufficiently small so that generally reliable velocity predictions can be made by the modified mixing length approach.
