The Journal of Dental Research: A Century of Shaping the Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Sciences

JDR has continued to advance because the strongest investigators in our expanding research community submit robust manuscripts in dentistry and stomatology (expanded to present-day oral and craniofacial basic, translational, and clinical sciences). The scientific impact of the published reports and reviews has propelled the JDR to be recognized as the leading journal in the oral health sciences, promoting the better understanding of disease and conditions of the oral cavity. The centennial papers will describe how fluoride and research policy affected disease prevention, oral and systemic health interrelationships, and dental reconstructive technologies, including implants, novel dental materials, and more.
