Zusammenfassung:Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are the most commonly prescribed class of antidepressant and are recommended as one of the first-line treatments for major depressive disorder, an often chronic or recurrent disorder that affects one in six adults during their lifetime. Here, Jha et al offer management tips when discontinuing SSRI antidepressants. A case of a 37-year-old woman with a major depressive disorder who was admitted to psychiatry inpatient unit after worsening suicidal ideation.
