Nucleic acid storage on FTA cards from cytological samples

DNA from lymphoid cells can be stored on FTA cards and are suitable for molecular investigations. RNA was not obtained, from the same samples, with the same procedure. The weaknesses of FTA card RNA storage may be due to the high fragmentation of RNA on this support.
