Zusammenfassung:Brain metastasis is the most frequent central nervous system malignancy. Although surgery and chemotherapy have roles to play in the treatment of brain metastasis, radiation therapy remains a mainstay of therapy. We will review the role of fractionated radiotherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery in the treatment of newly diagnosed and recurrent brain metastasis.
