A case of fat overload syndrome after rapid infusion of SMOFlipid emulsion in an adult

Five hundred milliliters of 20% soy oil, medium-chain triglyceride, olive and fish oil-based lipid (SMOFlipid) (Fresenius Kabi, Bad Homburg, Germany) emulsion was administered by infusion for 4 hours.
