Persons as the products and the producers of social acts

The topic opened with a review of several well known accounts of persons, particularly by Strawson and Stern. Persons are the originators of culturally distinct conversations. They come into being in conversational processes such as those investigated by Vygotsky. The role of indexical pronouns is made intelligible by tying them to the presentation of persons as unique fundamental social beings.
