The progenies had their gains estimates which were compared with the real gain obtained on F4 generation, which were conducted on experimental field in a randomized block design, with three replications. It was concluded that there are genetic variability for the productivity among evaluated progenies and also to issuing capability of lateral branches in soybean, however, the selection seeking to intensify or reduce this characteristic does not imply achievement of production gains. |
