Disturbances of F-region electron density following solar terminator during the WITS period of 16–20 March 1988

F-region electron density changes deduced from 14 ionosondes in the U.S.S.R. during five days in March 1988 are presented. Attention is focused on wave-like structures, with periods of up to 2 h, excited by the terminator crossing.
