Weight gain in children on oxcarbazepine monotherapy

Highlights • Oxcarbazepine significantly increased body weight in children with epilepsy. • The oxcarbazepine induced weight gain was similar to that observed by valproate. • Linear growth was not affected by oxcarbazepine or valproate therapy
