Zusammenfassung:This is the first account of the diet of lemon sole in Irish waters. 207 fish were examined for their gut contents from Galway Bay between the period March 1978 and September 1979. The results of the study show that polychaetes were the most important food item. Amphipods were of secondary importance, with molluscs, decapods and fish of minor importance.
