Mainly subarachnoid amyloid angiopathy with pseudotumoral course

Highlights • Type 2 CAA mainly affects subarachnoid vessels. • Pseudotumoral course is possible in mainly subarachnoid CAA cases. • MRI may show meningeal enhancement and superficial siderosis but no microbleeds. • True vasculitis may not be demonstrated on the neuropathological examination.
