This article discusses commercial relations China has developed with the countries of the Southeast Asia. This article, which focuses on the foundations of Chinese hegemony open to regional cooperation on Southeast Asia, also analyzes how much China's foreign aid system for the countries in the region is integrated into commercial activities. Textile and arms trade, which are two important items for China to develop trade relations with Southeast Asian countries, are discussed and the presence of China's construction firms in Southeast Asia is examined.
