Trend of memory recovery after benzodiazepine overdose

Memory impairment due to use of benzodiazepines in contemporary medical practice is well defined in previous studies. we were interested to study the trend of possible amnesia after high dose ingestion, in Iranian patients. This was a prospective descriptive/analytic clinical trial which was conducted in Noor general teaching hospital (affiliated with Isfahan University of Medical Sciences). Relationships between memory variables (using the Weschler Memory Test) and dosage of ingested drug were assessed using Pearson correlation coefficients.
