Odonata collected by F. and R. Struve on the East Frisian island of Borkum from 1932 to 1934

The Odonata of the Struve-collection, deposited in the Westfaelisches Landesmuseum fuer Naturkunde in Muenster, Germany, were checked. The examination revealed 62 specimen of 15 species. Only one species is supposed to be not indigenous during the time of investigation. 6 species were recorded for the first time from Borkum. Abundant species in the collection are Aeshna mixta, Libellula quadrimaculata, Sympetrum flaveolum, Sympetrum striolatum and Sympetrum vulgatum.
