Zusammenfassung:Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) was carried out on dried sewage sludge samples in a preliminary study to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of SFE in the recovery of dihardenedtallowdimethyl ammonium chloride (DHTDMAC) in comparison with an existing liquid extraction method. Extracts were analysed by a specific HPLC method. The effect of modifier concentration on DHTDMAC recovery was investigated.
