description A technique combining the TRIZ theory with industrial engineering-related ways is put forward to improve feeder efficiency. Through a causal analysis, value engineering and ECRS methods can improve efficiency of feeder, but they also encounter bottleneck. Combining the theory of TRIZ several solutions are put forward, and TOPSIS method is adopted for their preferential selection scheme. By implementing the scheme, no- value operation time and the production cost are both reduced, and the working efficiency improved. Results show that the technique combining the TRIZ theory with the relevant ways to improve can effectively solve the feeder contradictory problems in the optimization process, and the method can provide reference for enhancing the on-site improvement effect.
