Zusammenfassung: | A 43 Gbit/s CS-RZ OTN system in a polarisation mode dispersion (PMD)-limited transmission line in an actual field environment has been tested. The advantage of CS-RZ modulation in comparison with conventional NRZ against all-order PMD is confirmed. Also, ITU-T G.709 FEC performance against all-order PMD is clarified. High second-order PMD of 200 ps^sup 2^ was accommodated with the FEC. |
