Step-horn antenna with high aperture efficiency and low cross-polarisation
A multi-step horn antenna with rectangular or circular cross-section is presented. The horn has about 90% aperture efficiency and low cross-polarisation level. The theory behind such high aperture efficiency is explained and the radiation and return loss characteristics are shown.
