Da cuo mainly are located on the periphery of the inner cities. Shou-jin-liao are distributed on the south of the cities. Qilou which is a relatively new style of shophouse, are distributed along the street of Zhongshan south road. This paper clarifies the characteristics of distribution of house types and the urban formation process of Quanzhou city.
