Evaluation of hard-facing and process of its application on drill pipe tool joints

One of the important components of a drilling tool is the tool joint of drill pipes. It serves as a joining unit of drill pipes constituting the drill string that transmits torque and pressure to the bit. The possibility of well drilling depends on the reliability of the tool joint.
