Zusammenfassung:	The specific secretion rate of recombinant erythropoietin (EPO) from Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells was increased by reducing agents. Addition of 5 mM cysteamine to serum free medium led to almost 8-fold increase of specific EPO secretion rate although it was not effective in thiol free medium.
