Variation in strength of attachment to the substrate explains differential mortality in hybrid mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis and M. edulis) populations

The findings of a study of mussel samples collected from a hybrid mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis and M. edulis) suggest an adaptive difference that can account for reports of differential mortality acting in favor of Mytilus galloprovincialis.
