Zusammenfassung:The development of a nanometer differential mobility analyzer (Nano-DMA) optimized for the particle size range from 3 to 50 nm based on cylindrical configuration was described. The design was facilitated by numerical model which incorporates the flow field, electric field, and aerosol transport calculations inside DMA. The nano-DMA was designed to achieve high resolution measurement of nanometer aerosol down to 3 nm. Transfer function of the nano-DMA was obtained using the numerical model. Result shows a significant improvement in performance of nano-DMA.
