Side Excitation of Fluorescence in Ultrathin Slab Gel Electrophoresis
Electrophoresis in thin gel provides increased heat transfer efficiency, permitting larger electric fields to be employed. Methods for bringing the excitation beam into the thin gels from the side are discussed.
