Tortonian-Messinian palynomorphs from the easternmost Mediterranean region around Iskenderun, Turkey
The Tortonian-Messinian evaporite-bearing sedimentary rocks of the Kizildere Formation from the easternmost Mediterranean region are palynologically investigated. The spores and pollen association encountered in this study correlates well with the Kizilhisar assemblage by Benda (1971).
