description | Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Cordyceps sinensis in patients with acute cerebral infarction complicated with acute renal failure. Methods: A total of 48 patients with acute cerebral infarction complicated with acute renal failure were selected and randomly divided into treatment group (n=26 cases) and control group (n=22 cases). Results: BUN, SCr, and urine sodium of the treatment group was (14.90+ or -6.55)mmoL/L, (230.00+ or -162.40) [mu]moL/L and(18+ or -10.74) mmoL/L, all were decreased more obviously than that of the control group. Urine osmolality was (438+ or -174.80)mSom/kg [middot] H sub(2)O in the treatment group, significant higher than that in the control group. Time for symptoms of oliguria and urine volume and urine osmotic pressure to restore normal level were significant shorter in treatment group than that in the control group. Conclusion: Cordyceps sinensis has protective effects on acute cerebral infarction complicated with acute renal failure. |
