Larval and pupal descriptions of Dolophilodes (Fumonta) major (Banks) (Trichoptera: Philopotamidae)

The larva and pupa of Dolophilodes (Fumonta) major (Banks) are described and figured. The immatures are indigenous to seepage springs. Records show that this species occurs throughout the central and southern Appalachian Mountains of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
