Zusammenfassung: | Fungal sinusitis has been reported with increasing frequency. It is manifest as a chronic noninvasive or invasive disease, acute or chronic in course, or as allergic sinusitis. Little is known about the pathogenesis, management or prognosis of the disease. In this case report the authors describe a maxillary sinus mixed infection with a chronic course due to an Aspergillus sp. and a zygomycete in an otherwise healthy patient. |
