Zusammenfassung:Highlights • Batches of S19 Brucella abortus vaccine from all commercial vaccines used in Brazil were tested for potency, residual virulence and MLVA15. • Potency and residual virulence results from all batches attained national and international recommendations. • MLVA15 from all batches, except two batches from one producer, showed genotypes identical to the USDA S19 reference strain. • Although presenting a slightly different profile from the other S19 preparations, two batches also showed similar protection.
