Zusammenfassung:	The phenomenon of taste neophobia to apple juice does exist in the rabbit. It was found that malic acid was the main stimulus source. Attenuation of taste neophobia was due to neuronal processes which took place between rather than during drinking sessions. Conditioned taste aversion learning took place if apomorphine was injected after apple juice intake.
