Zusammenfassung:A 36-year-old male waste management worker collapsed and died on top of a tanker truck while training a new employee to manage petroleum waste. Conflicting information was provided concerning the events preceding his death: by one account, the collapse occurred before the hatch was open; by another description, the collapse occurred over an open hatch. The tank was known to contain H sub(2)S. Both emergency medicine service and hospital personnel noticed a strong chemical odor arising from the decedent; however, H sub(2)S environmental sampling was not available.
