Zusammenfassung:	The paper presents a sample of wider set of new findings and recommendations from the area of the influence of technological parameters on the quality of surface of steel HARDOX 500 cut by AWJ technology and obtained by the evaluation of a large set of experiments within long-term activities of the Department of Manufacturing Processes Operation, Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies, Technical University in Košice, aimed at the diagnostics of operational states of manufacturing systems with AWJ technology.
