Zusammenfassung:DWRB 91 (DWR46/RD2552) is hulled type two-row malt barley variety, which was developed by pedigree method at DWR, Karnal. The variety was released by the Central Sub-Committee on Crop Standards, Notification and Release of Varieties for Agricultural Crops in 2013 and notified vide Notification number S.O. No. 952 (E) dated on 10 super(th) April, 2013 for irrigated late sown conditions of North Western Plains Zone (NWPZ). This variety can fit well in potential areas of barley cultivation in rotation with cotton, sorghum, sugarcane and pearl millet, where previous kharif crop harvestings are delayed.
