Crassulacean acid metabolism in the winter annual Diamorpha cymosa (Crassulaceae) in its native habitat
The purpose of this study to observe the patterns of seasonal change in soil moisture availability, growth, plant water potential, nocturnal acid accumulation, and biomass super(13)C values in D. cymosa , and thereby to elucidate the role of CAM in this species over the course of a growing season.
